Can things like gender, ethnicity, education and taking time off to raise a child really affect your chances of getting a job? We set out to prove why anonymised CVs make the hiring process fairer.
Your personal details should never stand between you and your dream job. To show why anonymised CVs are so important, and to encourage some of the biggest brands in the UK to adopt our tool, we took the CVs of some of the most important people across Britain, and changed just one thing – their age, gender, ethnicity, education or we added a career break. Then, we sent their CVs to the recruitment teams at their very own companies to see whether they’d get a call back.
